Absolutely, we are used to making wee ones feel comfortable and relaxed in order to get some amazing images. We recommend you do not get the children too excited about the session, in our experience it is better to play it down. No practicing smiles please, let's keep it 'real'
Please bring along any toys or hobbies the children have as it adds to the personalisation of the session.

If the weather isn't on our side we can switch to a studio or home session, find an alternative date or even layer up and brave the elements. As we are also wedding photographers, we are used to making the most of the great Scottish weather. We will make sure the images look like they are taken in perfect weather!

Yes, all our sessions require a £25 deposit to book. We can have a teams call prior to you paying a deposit to ensure we are the right fit for your family.

Solid colours photograph well. Avoid anything with big logos, graphics, or busy patterns. Pastel shades work well as they look good on any wall. Shoes tend to look overpowering in portraits and can date the photographs so many of our sessions are photographed barefoot (remember to paint your toenails or book a pedicure!) If you're happier in your shoes please make sure they're clean and not scuffed. We also recommend hair and makeup is as natural as possible.
